The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), the leading certification authority in sustainable printing, announced today that PrintReLeaf joined the SGP community as a Resource Partner.
In celebration of trees and Arbor Day (celebrated this year on April 30), it’s an ideal time mention the partnership between Xerox and the PrintReleaf program. Based on the concept “you print one, we’ll plant one,” PrintReleaf guarantees every sheet of paper used will be reforested. It’s not one-to-one, but the rate of 8,333 sheets of standard letter (8.5 × 11″ 20lb paper) equates to a 37.16kg tree (40ft height × 7in width or 12.192m × 0.1778m).
